The purpose of BraceAid is to enable patients and families receive orthodontic care. This website lists participating dentists and orthodontists by area to identify convenient office locations. The awarding of BraceAid is at the discretion of each general dental office, however, the following selection factors generally apply to all offices:
- Patients eligible for BraceAid must have financial need, have good dental home care, and a significant interest in orthodontic care.
-
- BraceAid Awards are given in $500.00 increments to help with the initial cost of orthodontics. However, treatment is not free. Cooperation and commitment is much enhanced when patients have an ownership in their care.
-
- Recipients of the BraceAid award may be patients of the dental office, or from individuals identified by civic organizations and churches.
It is the hope of your community dentists and orthodontists that in this difficult economic time, BraceAid will be of significant help to our patients, friends and neighbors. The gift of a beautiful smile is a life changing event. Inquiries regarding this community program may be directed to info@braceaid.org, or to the individual offices.
Patients seeking a BraceAid Award must contact a participating dentist for a consultation, therefore, it is important to ask the policy of each office prior to the appointment.
